School Year Calendar:

Afterworks opens on opening day for Cambridge Public Schools and operates on all school days during the year, from 2:00 – 6:00 pm.

Afterworks is open during the February, April, and December vacation weeks from 8:30 am – 6:00 pm.
We are open 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm on early release days.

Afterworks is closed during the following holidays:
Yom Kippur
Columbus Day
Veterans Day
Thanksgiving Day
Friday after Thanksgiving
December vacation
Martin Luther King Day
Presidents Day
Evacuation Day
Good Friday
Patriots Day
Memorial Day

Daily schedule:
2:00–3:00: Children arrive. Indoor recreation time.
3:00-3:30: Healthy snack, followed by multilingual singing. Teachers read books from our literacy program as children get settled.
3:30-4:00: Homework and tutoring.
4:00-5:30: Enrichment activities, including drumming, creative writing, theater, arts and crafts, storytelling, cooking, and/or field trips.
5:30-6:00: Clean up; parents arrive to pick up children.
